What makes our Zero-Turn function different?

Unlike the drive system on a standard mast style lift, Hy-Brid Lifts™ Zero-Turn Series system is actually a subzero-turn system meaning the turn radius is less than zero.

How is that possible?

The directional drive is determined by the back wheels turning in oppisite directions when the joystick is moved left or right.

The zero-turn function of Hy-Brid Lifts™ Zero-Turn Series provides operators with a master level of control for reaching spaces previously accessable only with unsafe ladders.

Why break from standard zero-turn drive function?

Efficiency. We observed operators struggle to gain access to small spaces, and maneuver around tight corners and down narrow hallways.  During these observations we noticed how time consuming it is for sluggish, bulky machines to navigate a complex jobsite.  That time costs companies thousands of dollars over time resulting in overbudget projects.  The time it takes to maneuver a MEWP into place should be less than the time it takes to complete a task and not cause damage in transit.

Zero-Turn Series controls provide more natural, intuitive controls, enabling the operator to become more familiar with the machine, and accomplish their tasks at industry leading rates.
